DOMESTIC RETURNS (US)

Our Return Process:

At HudsonFlowVintage, we understand that sometimes items may not meet your expectations. We want you to be delighted with your purchase and offer a straightforward return policy. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, return the item within 7 days of delivery in the condition it was sent. Return shipping fees are paid by the customer. A refund of the item's price, less shipping costs. All carrier real-time return shipping label costs will be deducted from the customer’s item’s price. The price of return shipping labels is set by the carrier, not by HudsonFlowVintage. We offer many items at lower shipping rates than carriers do, only when shipping packages to buyers. Some rare vintage items are not returnable under any circumstances. Please read our return policy for further information given on this page.

Initiating a return is easy. Contact us through our dedicated 'Contact Us' page within 7 days of order delivery. The customer confirms the return process by email. Once the item is returned to our office and inspected, our dedicated team will process your refund promptly within 3-6 bank business days. There is no refund for damaged items. Please read our refund policies.

You will receive an email notification shortly after you submit your return request. Once the item is sent back and inspected, a USPS shipping label will be issued to initiate the return.

Please remember that the item must be in its original condition with all tags and labels attached. It is crucial to ensure a smooth return process. Use the original shipping box and packing materials to prevent damage during the return. 

RETURN CONDITIONS

The items you wish to return should be in the condition in which they were sent. The articles are not worn, with no fabric spray, cigarette smoke, cannabis odor, smoke damage, burns, drink/food/water damage, animal scents/hair, alterations, uncleaned, stained, sweat, body odor, makeup stains, or unwashed condition. There is no refund for seam-stretch damage caused by trying on a garment that is too small. Any items used or worn are non-returnable. All original sales tags and clothing labels must be attached to the article and not tampered with. Parcels are returned in the same manner we sent them to you. 

We cannot accept returns or refunds for items in the above conditions. All vintage garments are professionally Eco-friendly dry-cleaned and cleaned without added perfume and scents. Offending fabric sprays and scents can ruin a garment's resale value. Remember to pack items securely to prevent damage during shipping back to us, and use the original shipping packaging. It is crucial to pack bags and hats exactly as they are sent to you to avoid damage during transit.

Helpful Hint: I always take a photo of the package after opening the box. It makes it simpler to repack the item the same way for return if needed.

Every item is checked for flaws, undergoes rigorous team inspections multiple times, and is time-stamped, photographed, or videotaped during order processing for shipment and upon return. All parcels sent from HudsonFlowVintage to the buyer are insured.

 

IRETURN FEES

Shipping fees paid at the time of the order cannot be refunded. 

The buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees. HudsonFlowVintage does not guarantee receipt of your returns. We reserve the right to refuse a parcel if it does not meet our return requirements.

We do not accept any returns that are not returned within 7 days. 

 

UNAPPROVED RETURNS - REROUTED PACKAGES

We do not accept unexpected return packages without prior approval and an accurate tracking number; any such packages will Be Returned. If a package is rerouted to you, we can no longer accept the package back. We consider this a final sale. 

 

APPROVED RETURNS

When your return is approved through our contact form, a refund will be issued for the item's cost minus the carrier's shipping costs and any fees incurred within 3 to 6  business days to the original payment method after the returned inspection has found that the garment or accessories are in the same condition as sent to you. If the order includes multiple payment methods, we will issue a refund for each method separately.

UNCLAIMED - RETURNED PACKAGES

Unclaimed returned packages are eligible for a refund minus shipping and any other fees incurred. These fees will be deducted from the item’s cost. Any packages returned to the customer due to delivery issues will incur a shipping and insurance fee. We will contact you to confirm the return shipping and insurance fees before we ship the item back to you.

IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN NOT RETURN?

We do not accept returns on intimate items, some rare garments, and certain accessories, including purses, belts, gifts, pajamas, lingerie, bras, panties, stockings, bodysuits, leotards, bralettes, robes, socks, hair accessories, and jewelry.

All vintage intimates are cleaned before shipping. Please measure carefully. 

HudsonFlowVintage does not accept returns on intricate embroidered, one-of-a-kind, designed items. Please measure carefully before ordering. One artist creates these one-of-a-kind pieces, which can take up to a year to make. These garments are listed periodically. Promotional Codes or Coupon Codes for custom-embroidered items are not accepted. All hand-designed embroidered garments are signed upon delivery.

SHOES

Shoes are returnable in the same condition they were sent. Vintage shoes that show any wear not shown in our photographs and video are not returnable. It is best to try shoes on using a carpet or rug to prevent damage.

FINAL SALES ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

Final sales are not eligible for a return. Items in the sale section, store-wide sale, or sales noted in the listing description do not qualify for returns.

Promotional Codes and Coupon Codes cannot be applied to Final Sale items. Promo codes cannot be used with coupon codes. It is considered a Final Sale if you purchase using a promotional code or coupon code during a Promotion or sale. Sale items are not returnable. 

ORDER CANCELLATION

We do not accept any order cancellations. Please shop responsibly with this in mind.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS - WE ASK FOR DAMAGE ITEM INFORMATION

We ask to see the damaged item with 4 photos from multiple closeup angles, pictures of the inside of the box and the original packaging materials, and a photo of the box the item came in. Do not throw away any packaging. The shipping company requires this to investigate the damage and compare information. Insurance companies, USPS, FedEx, and UPS will request photos of the damaged item, the packaging, and the box as proof.

If information is not provided, we will treat it as a final sale.

Our garments undergo rigorous inspections multiple times to ensure high standards before purchase, after cleaning and stowing, and during processing for shipment. The condition of all vintage and other items is thoroughly described. Please remember vintage items are pre-loved and may show signs of wear or none at all. This is what makes it special. Significant areas are always shown. Please see the photographs for further inspection of the article before purchasing.

All items and packages that HudsonFlowVintage ships out are time-stamped, inspected, photographed, and videoed by us before shipping.
